Movement Coaching

Movement coaching is grounded in the principles of rehabilitation and motor learning sciences. It draws from a diverse range of methods, including fitness training, Pilates mat and apparatus exercises, somatic movement practices, and breathing techniques, to name a few. This integration of approaches harnesses the unique strengths of each, expanding the realm of possibilities. As a result, it enables a finely-tailored approach to practice that aligns precisely with individual needs and preferences.

The heart of effective movement for healing lies in its dynamic and adaptable nature. Rather than adhering to a rigid regimen or a predetermined movement method, my clients’ training sessions are molded by their evolving needs, aspirations, and personal preferences. Through personalized programs, we ensure active engagement of the body, facilitating the transformative changes necessary for healing and holistic well-being.

With consistent dedication to the exercise routine, a newfound sense of of safety in the body and its capabilities emerges. This journey helps develop physical strengths in areas that were once sources of discomfort, effectively disassociating pain from movement. The positive effects of this training approach extend to strengthening and harmonizing the musculoskeletal system, improving joint flexibility and range of motion, refining neuromotor control (encompassing balance, coordination, and proprioception), releasing tension, promoting relaxation, and reinstating balance to the nervous system. It develops sensory-motor tolerance and endurance while fostering a deep appreciation for free, joyful movement.

Explore Three Training Modes and Their Combinations

Ground-Based Training

Engage in movements on a mat with added small accessories. Unlock a range of motion possibilities, practice separations of movement, and experience integrated full-body motions. Utilize your body weight and work against gravity for resistance.

Instrument-Based Workouts

Step into the world of Pilates apparatus like the Reformer and Cadillac, along with aerobic and fitness devices such as spinning bikes and heavyweight poles. Discover the contrast in uses – providing stability and support while also presenting challenges with spring resistance, straps, and moving surfaces.

Air-Based Movement

Elevate your routine with hammock-based practice. Experience gentle rehabilitation movements to challenging muscular exercises and acrobatic feats, to deep relaxation. Explore reversals, hanging, rocking and hovering movements made possible through the reversal of gravity and compressive forces.
